My name is Kierra Edwards and I recently just moved to a new state excited for a new adventure! I used to teach 2nd grade as well as take part in other educational settings from babies all the way to college students.

I am a middle school, 7th-grade teacher. I educate both general and special education students. I am highly qualified in all content areas, however, my strengths are ELA and Reading. I enjoy working one-on-one with students because it allows them to feel comfortable and ask questions they generally would not in the classroom. I create lessons to meet all learning styles.

My ultimate goal is to teach students to become life-long learners by implementing research-based strategies and design lessons based on students experiences, curiosity and individuality, which leads to encouragement and independence.
