I have tutored K-12 students since 2006. I love to empower students and help them with their academic challenges. I have had the privilege of tutoring students in Chicago, Washington DC, Newark, NJ and Baton Rouge. As a former History, Algebra 1 and Physics teacher for secondary students, I have been able to implement my strategies and tips from the classroom into my tutoring style.

I have had 37 years as an educator and counseling psychologist before retiring in 2014 in a variety of settings: university undergraduate teaching, mental health clinics, elementary and high school teaching, group and private practices. That sums up my abilities and adaptability.
