Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of The University of Bristol. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Ancient History. Since I graduated in 2021, I have travelled and worked for a charity as a fundraiser. Whilst I was at university I tutored for Student Action of Refugees, a charity that tutors children of refugee families. I taught students English, History and Science mainly over the three years. Then after university I lived in Barcelona where I went to language school to consolidate my Spanish that I had learnt at school. I also learnt Latin at school and then university as part of my course. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about History, English and Spanish. In my experience, I find that often students struggle with a subject because they do not find it engaging. This had led to my teaching approach to focus on making the subject interesting, fun, and relatable for the students. My teaching employs various techniques to enable to student to participate fully and acquire initiative with the subject whilst not feeling under too much pressure.
