Certified Tutor
I am a graduate of Western Governor's University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education K-6. I also have an ESOL certification, TESOL, and reading endorsement. After graduating, I began teaching second grade and then taught Kindergarten for two years before becoming a Mom.
I love teaching because I get to be the example and give my students the opportunities that I so desperately needed as a child. I truly feel educating is my calling, and I have enjoyed every moment of living out my dream.
While I enjoy teaching all subjects, my favorite to teach is foundations of reading. There is nothing more magical than seeing a child read for the first time. In my teaching, I really try to engage the student by being energetic and bringing humor to my lessons.
When I am not teaching I am spending time with my son, working out, or sewing.
