Certified Tutor

I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. I am formerly an elementary school teacher, I taught kindergarten and second grade. Before that, I was a tutor in college for the Athletic Department in the subjects of Essay Writing and Philosophy. Since I was a Toastmaster throughout my college career, I tutored informally in the subject of public speaking. Most recently, my experience in education has been teaching ESL online to Chinese students, which I have also enjoyed very much. I love working with students of all ages and backgrounds. It's wonderful to see them learn and grow! I do all I can to guide my students in the right direction for learning, because the knowledge they discover is meaningful and stays with them the longest, rather than knowledge simply told to them. I believe a good education is never wasted.
I'm an explorer - I'm always trying to discover new things! Whether that's hiking or traveling virtually.
