My greatest passion in life is teaching! I have taught in elementary and middle school classrooms for over 34 years. During those years, I have taught students with learning difficulties as well as students who are gifted and talented. I know it can take a variety of ways to teach a concept. Over the years, I have taught mainly math, reading, and writing. I love seeing a student gain confidence while learning. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a specialization in mathematics from the University of Houston in Texas. I am committed to helping my students learn at their level and building confidence in their abilities just as my teachers did for me.

My interest and hobbies include spending time with my family, helping animals, reading, and playing golf. I am a new grandmother as of 2020 and enjoy spending time with my grandson.
