"What do you want to be when you grow up?" Was a common question every child and young adult is familiar with. I first wanted to be an astronaut, then a college math professor, and then I finally decided on being a doctor. To pursue this doctorate degree, I am attending East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. I am a Junior in the process of studying microbiology with a minor in epidemiology, which in short, is the study of diseases. I graduated high school first in my class, and I am currently on track to do the same at ETSU. From a young age, I have been very fascinated and curious with the world of science and math. So, I tutor a wide range of subjects such as: biology, chemistry, physics, and upper level high school math courses. My teaching style is one that is adaptable, and varies greatly depending on who is the student. In math based courses, I like to quiz the student beforehand to ensure time is not wasted going over material that the student already feels comfortable on. Seeing others succeed is something that truly gives me satisfaction. As a result, I currently host large group tutoring for students in general chemistry and physics at my college. When I am not at these sessions, I enjoy offering my time at a local medical clinic that offers healthcare to those with low income.

When I am not bogged down by class, I love to unwind with a variety of things, such as sports, video games, and hiking. Due to the lack of sports this year, I have decided to pick up golf and hiking, both of which I love. I have played soccer, basketball, and baseball from the age of 6, so basically I love to be involved in any athletic event with friends.
