Certified Tutor

I have been dancing my whole life from taking classes in private studios to majoring in dance at the High School of the Performings Arts in NYC. I am a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU with a BFA in Dance. I also hold an MFA in Dance from UWM and an MA in Performance Studies from NYU. Currently, I am an EdD student in Dance Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
After dancing professionally for almost twenty years I turned to education and worked in the NYC Public Schools as a Dance Educator. I've also worked as a Teaching Artist and spent five years as the Subject Expert Teacher in Movement at BASIS Independent Brooklyn. I am passionate about teaching dance and the ways we learn through and with our bodymind. I have trained in Yoga RYT200, and many body based modalities. I am a Mom to two beautiful girls and a host Mom to international students. Our house is full of learning!
