I am a graduate of The University of South Carolina. I studied Early Childhood Education and graduated Magna Cum Laude. After graduation, I began working in Atlanta where I completed six years in the classroom. I received the Teacher of the Year award in 2019. Currently, I am working as a reading interventionist in DC. I focus on the Orton Gillingham method and small group guided reading with grades K-4. I am passionate about building strong relationships with students and families in order to create the optimal environment for student success. In my spare time, I love to read, run, hike and cook new things!
