Teach students with examples from the real world. Get out of the books!

Ask questions to identify the needs of the student so I can shape my methodology according to his or her needs.

Give homework and direct them to the area they need to work on.

I'd assess their level constantly and tell them how much work is left.

Provide examples from the real world. Change the methodology. Use more tools.

Tell them the change they could feel when the subject is mastered. Explain to them how the subject can impact their life and how important it is.

Asking more questions and find out the areas of weakness of the student.
