Certified Tutor

I am currently a law student at Northeastern University School of Law. I am a graduate of Miami University. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women's Studies. After graduation, I completed two years of national service in AmeriCorps as a literacy tutor. I tutored adults in ESL and GED Math. I continued as an ESL instructor for three additional years. I have worked with basic phonics and reading through TOEFL prep and editing college level essays. I love languages, so my favorite subjects to tutor are English and Spanish. However, I tutor a wide range of subjects including math and standardized test prep including the LSAT. I am a proponent of trying to find a learning style that works for the student because we all learn differently and need to see material in different ways. In my spare time, I like reading fiction, knitting, and watching movies.
