I am currently a PhD student at the University of Missouri - Saint Louis. Math, music and education are my passions. I have been tutoring since high school when my classmates asked me to give them the insight they I found. Since then, I have taught middle school, high school, community college and university in several sciences and levels of mathematics. I have noticed as both an educator and student that the best teachers are the ones who not only enjoy the material they teach but actively participate in application. My research is in signal processing; finding new ways to make music a part of everyone's everyday life.
I love to learn about other cultures! People are generally surprised to find out how much I love food from around the world.
