I am a graduate from Texas State University San Marcos, where I obtained a Master of Social Work with an emphasis in Advanced Leadership Practice. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Social Work and minor in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I am passionate about supporting students through their educational journey and creating a space that allows them to study and learn in ways that work for them and their unique needs. I hold a LBSW and am currently pursuing a master's license in social work (LMSW). Having been through the licensing process, I understand the stress and overwhelming emotions that accompany taking the ASWB licensing exams, let alone any social work exam or assignment. I am here to support you as you learn the content necessary to pass your exam and also learn the skills to be an efficient and compentent social worker.
While completing my minor in Spanish, I completed a study abroad experience in Costa Rica where I honed my Spanish speaking skills. I was fully immersed in the culture and language, allowing me to develop increased fluency of the language at a rapid pace. Since this experience I have continued to utilize the knowledge of the Spanish language in personal and professional settings. I have a passion for the Spanish Language and would love to help you succeed in your studies!
Finally, as an individual diagnosed with ADHD-Inattentive Type, I understand the struggles that come along with organizing information, prioritizing and following through on tasks, managing multiple deadlines, and other executive functioning tasks. Over the years, through my educational and professional journey, I have successfully developed tips, tricks and tools to help me succeed in all aspects of my life, especially as it relates to managing my ADHD symptoms. I would love to help you or your child develop tools and processes that work for them so that they, too, can manage their ADHD symptoms and perform at their highest potential.

I absolutely love being active and spending time outdoors! You can often find me rollerblading, walking my dogs, or tending to my plants on a beautiful day. I also enjoy volunteering for a local non-profit organization that aims to help young girls discover their power. Through this volunteer experience I have the pleasure of faciltating school based group programming where I support 3rd through 12th grade girls discover their innate ability to be unstoppable!
