I am a highly qualified educator of 15 years. I received my Undergraduate degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2006. In 2011, I received my Master's degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction as well as a Reading Specialist Certification from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. I was an Elementary classroom teacher for 10 years with experience in all subject areas. I am currently a Reading Specialist serving students in grades K-8. While I love all students and subject areas, I have a passion for working with students in grades K-3. I aim to personalize every session to meet the needs of my students, and focus on areas in which the student has the potential to improve. Each session is flexible and designed to work with the student to not only complete their daily tasks, but guide them from novice to expert. I do that in the most effective way possiblemastering the subject area and building lifelong confidence. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, reading, traveling, and attending my children's sporting events.
