I'm a recent graduate of Wesleyan University, finishing my Bachelor of Arts degree in May 2021 with a double major in History and French Studies. Upon graduation, I was awarded the Mann Prize for Romance Languages, which is given to the seniors demonstrating the most outstanding achievements in Romance language studies. As a student at Wesleyan, I've had the opportunity to work as a tutor through my university's peer tutoring program, as well as a course assistant in both Russian language classes (as a native speaker helping English speakers) and an introductory history course. These experiences have taught me that the most important approach to education is empathy and seeking to meet the student at their level, no matter where they are, and building from there. I tutor a broad range of subjects, and I am most experienced with conversational language learning, essay writing help, study tactics, and actively engaging with historical documents.
