I am currently an undergraduate student at James Madison University. As a Junior, I am close to graduating with a major in Psychology (B.S.) with minors in Data Analytics, Biology, and Criminal Justice. Following this program of study, I hope to attend graduate school and pursue a career in Neuroscience Research and Quantitative Psychology. Through the classes I have taken for this career path, I have gained a deep understanding of Statistics, Psychology, and Biology. Through my courses I have also become experienced in analyzing literature and summarizing academic journals for research proposals. These classes have also given me the necessary knowledge for becoming a Research Associate for the Institute of Organizational Mindfulness. This company promotes mindfulness and healthy cognition in the workplace to improve productivity, creativity, and revenue. I am passionate about helping students understand material and apply the topic to problems presented in and out of the classroom. Seeing that "lightbulb moment" in students makes tutoring absolutely priceless and motivates me to work diligently to ensure that my students feel comfortable and capable of tackling the material and getting the grades they deserve.
