As the mother of a child with dyslexia and ADHD I developed a special passion for teaching struggling readers. As someone who struggled with undiagnosed ADD for my entire childhood yet still went on to earn a PhD in history from the University of Notre Dame, I have a strong commitment to helping every student find the strategies and help that will help them excel. As a mother of four children I have patience and experience with all children.
