Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. After graduation I decided to join Teach For America. I was assigned to the Indianapolis Public School District where I taught High School Math to students in a low income, inner city community. While teaching, I received my Masters Degree in Secondary Education for Mathematics.

I can tutor a broad range of subjects, however I am most passionate about Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra and Algebra. In my experience, setting students up with a solid foundation in Math leads to success down the line. I believe that elementary, middle school and early Algebra are the critical building blocks to understanding more complicated math concepts through high school and beyond. I am passionate about education and am a firm believer that every student deserves time and dedication from their instructor to ensure they master concepts.

In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at a horse rescue, doing CrossFit, hiking and spending quality time with my 3 dogs. Life is an adventure!
