Certified Tutor

I am a teacher with 4 years of full-time teaching experience and 2 years of tutoring experience. I have a Master's Degree in Education from Canisius College and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish/Communications from the University of Pittsburgh. I am certified to teach all elementary school subjects (Grades 1-6) and TESOL/ESL in all grades (K-12). I currently work as an ESL teacher in Buffalo, New York and work primarily with elementary school students. I have 4 years of ESL teaching experience and 2 years of experience co-teaching in elementary English, Math, Science and Social Studies classes.

I love tutoring because it allows me to tailor my teaching strategies to support each student's individual learning style. I think learning should be fun and as engaging as possible! I strive to ensure that all of my students understand concepts deeply and not just memorize facts. I hope to help your student learn to love learning and the process of overcoming academic obstacles. I enjoy tutoring in all subject areas!

Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing the piano and the ukulele. I love traveling and have worked abroad in Colombia and South Korea! I also speak Spanish.
