Certified Tutor

I am currently working on my Masters in History online via Southern New Hampshire University. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2018 with a BA in both History and Anthropology. My overall goal personally is to move forward in my education to get board certified as a forensic archaeologist.

My dad is a Veteran so I grew up learning mostly military history as he would go over details from past conflicts and repair antiques he found. My family has done a lot of research into our own personal history and it's these things that have really driven my connection to history. Also being raised by a grunt is definitely a very structured way to live which helped me to develop good habits for studying and staying motivated.

My main tutoring interests are centered around history, essay writing, and study strategies. I really enjoy helping students to find their stride so they can progress with confidence toward their goals and in their future endeavors. I've worked with kids of all temperaments in my time as a camp counselor (3 years 1st-11th grade) so I know that not every kid is as motivated as others or as good at certain subjects, though with the right help they can all succeed.
