Certified Tutor

I have been an educator at a summer science camp program since the age of 15 and I have done both paid and volunteer tutoring and TAing for the last 4 years at my college. In addition to being a very dedicated and high-ranking student and one with experience straddling two fields, I really love to teach and have a passion for the success of students and the dissemination of knowledge! I have experience as a performer as well and in my evaluations from tutoring, TAing, and counseling I have gotten great feedback about the style and energy with which I teach. I am well versed in cross-cultural sensitivity and gender/sexuality identity politics and have always kept student comfort and background at the heart of my teaching strategies. I take pride in calling myself a facilitator for students.
