Hello, my name is Hannah Simons, and I decided to become a personal tutor after I got a job at my school's writing center, and found out I absolutely loved the feeling of being able to clear up someone's frustrations. I am actually a marine science major, but among all my lab reports and data collection, I needed a humanities outlet. My natural reading and writing ability have always been able to give me a different perspective on the sciences. However, because of my strength in language, I've always struggled in math. To be a marine science major I had to overcome a lot of academic challenges, due to the major's concentration in math. I hope that my passion for what I study can inspire other people to find their niche, and make them want to excel in areas that they've always struggled.
