Certified Tutor

I am a 2023 graduate of the University of Delaware, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in Middle School Math. Throughout my college years, I have gained knowledge through student teaching experiences in 3rd and 5th Grade multi-subject classrooms as well as in two different 7th Grade math classrooms. Since graduation, I was hired as a 7th & 8th Grade Middle School Math Teacher, where I worked with varying age groups, subject matter, languages, etc. While I am both certified and confident in multi-subject Elementary Education, I am most passionate about Math. Whether it be in the traditional classroom or at my long-time Summer STEAM Camp Educator position, there is no feeling more rewarding than when a struggling student has their "Ah-Ha!" moment. We are all aware of the anxiety, difficulties, and stereotypes associated to Math. However, my goal as an educator is to spread the appreciation, relevance, and importance of this subject through one relatable and enjoyable learning experience at a time.
