I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in English Education. I also graduated from Berry College with a degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am certified in 6th-12th Grades English Language Arts, PreK-12th Special Education,4th-8th Social Studies, Curriculum and Instruction, ESOL, and Gifted Education. I am also a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator.
While in college, I graduated from KSU's Center for Student Leadership, and I was the President of Kappa Delta Pi, an Education Honors Society. I was also inducted into the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and The Society of Collegiate Leadership and Achievement. While working on my Masters Degree, I accepted a nomination to be in Berry College's Kappa Delta Pi.
