Certified Tutor

I am an experienced, certified English teacher for grades K-12 and would love to help your child improve his/her reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, study, speaking, phonics, and overall communication skills. I have taught multiple English, Writing, Journalism, and Marketing classes and have served in Admissions and Marketing positions in a private high school for the past seven years. I earned my Master's Degree in Teaching from Fairleigh Dickinson University, as well as Bachelor's degrees in both English and Communications from Boston College. Most importantly, I am a mother of three, so I understand the challenges and stresses our children face in the school environment today. I also hold my teaching certification in Elementary Education. Prior to teaching, I worked in the corporate sector for ten years. Thus, I can help your child learn the skills he/she will need to succeed in the classroom, as well as in the real world. I look forward to helping your child build his/her skills, confidence, and love of learning.
